more at inhabitat as amazing as 3d printing is, I'm a bit fearful of the things that will done, simply because they can be done. it's too easy. Charles Eames wrote about this. He spoke about how the more difficult the material (in shaping) resulted in a more beautiful object, because the formal move becomes much more considered. It's like the energy taken to come to the decision is reflected by the energy needed to complete the move. Considered form.
